Sample the Godcaster

In LA this a church that is podcasting with great success. Thier podcasts are great, leaving quit an impact upon the soul. Mind you, I am not one to go lightly on the subject of these kind of ministries. Nor are these kinds of churches or Godcasts part of my spiritual travels. But it did leave this idea in my head.
Have podcasts of sermons, so that people can sample what attending the church would be like. Larger churches already have a Sunday morning service on local channels and even cable. For the local church, the one down the street, what is it like? What kind of preaching goes on in the walls? What kind of worship is played out by the congregation? This just shows even more that the smaller churches have got to have a website, RSS feeds, podcasts and more.
It should never be considered that listening to a Godcast would make up for going to church, no more than watching Church on TV counts for attendence.
Finally, I found the link to the iTunes Stanford page. I had been trying to find the link, but for some odd reason could never get it too make it to the final page. One more great podcast to subscribe too.

Seaside

Meet me in the waves so we can gently rock upon the sand and fall upon each other within the darkness of the deepest sea and give to the ocean her song of stillness Let us sway with her sea grass like a flag of beauty that she brings to battle For every mountain swallowed within her is but a grain of sand placed in an oyster shell Even the islands will be her gown upon our wedded bliss Her rains will come to the highlands and bear down fruit of many trees Though man will divert the rivers and dam the flows Oh the patience of the water will break down and erode every low place to deep canyons We will pool and calm the lake waters until it is clear like a crystal ball in our hands

A Moment with the Master

I am not sure that if a demon were to manifest right before me in such horrific detail that I would be affected as much if I found myself alone in desolation. Not really afraid of the dark as much I am fearful of what the full light could show. I wanted to speak to myself for just a moment. Do you do that, talk to that person that is always talking in your head? I have lots to say, when I can get a word in between the chatter. You should never believe the lesser men that espouse to teach the lessons of the great masters of the past. They smell of hypocrasy and there is potential dangers of the mass of humanity, the dullness, colorless, boring; the masses are the final tyrants on monotony. It is the primitive power that can be the cage of your power. Do you ask your Self these questions, when you are alone in the car or in the dark? How powerful are you and what are you really? You are not to ask of God, gods, spirits or ancestors, nor rely on them your whole life. They might help yo...

Today is the day of the Revolution!

The carefully guarded legacy of the Beatles is to be unleashed again upon the world. It is truly another invasion in the form of a Revolution. The release of the third popular "Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero" allow players to mimic their favorite Beatles band member with "The Beatles: Rock Band." Forty-five Beatles tunes are featured in the game with instrumental parts, accompanied by animation sequences that will draw oohs and ahhs from fans. Fans choose a song and a member of the band, like, George Harrison's guitar line on "Day Tripper" and follow along as the animated Beatles perform. Fans will play their favorite songs through great venues such as the Cavern Club and Shea Stadium. Later sequences take place in Abbey Road studio and other interpretive fantasy environments inspired by song lyrics and themes. The seed was planted by son of George Harrision, the late Beatles guitarist, Dhani Harrison, who approached Harmonix with the idea. Ever...
